PHP Backend Software Engineer

Required technical competence:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is a plus, however is not mandatory.
- Proven experience as a software engineer, with a focus on web application development using Laravel and PHP.
- Strong proficiency in Laravel and PHP, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with Laravel.
- Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Application Development: Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Laravel and PHP, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Security: Implement security best practices and measures to protect applications against vulnerabilities and threats.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, processes, and systems.
